About Karaka Netball Club

Karaka Netball Club is a long-established and valued part of the sporting community at Karaka Sports Park.

We believe netball is more than just a sport. It plays a crucial role in developing teamwork, confidence, resilience, and fostering lifelong friendships. At Karaka Netball, we are proud to provide a safe, inclusive environment where players can belong, feel supported, and grow both on and off the court.

Our teams compete on Saturdays at the Papakura Netball Centre, located at Bruce Pulman Park in Papakura. The season generally runs from March through to mid-August.

Karaka Netball Club caters to players of all ages and abilities, from our youngest Future Ferns through to Senior players:

  • Future Ferns: Years 1–2 and Years 3–4

  • Future Ferns: Years 5–6

  • Intermediate: Years 7–8

  • Under 15 / Collegiate: Years 9–13

  • Senior: Post-school age

We welcome new members at all levels and are especially keen to grow our junior base, who represent the future of our club. Karaka Netball supports its players and teams through mentoring, uniforms, and opportunities to develop skills and confidence in a positive, community-focused environment.
